Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Four Cores — the web application at fourcores.gg and its iOS and Android versions — and the Four Cores Discord bot. Use of either constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Service provided as is
Four Cores is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. No guarantee is made as to its availability, accuracy, or freedom from error. Card data, rulings, and prices are supplied by third parties and may be inaccurate or out of date; they should not be relied upon for purchases or for tournament rulings.
This applies equally to every figure the service derives from those prices — the estimated value of a collection, of a wishlist, or of either side of a trade. Such figures are indicative only, are frequently stale, and are not an appraisal, an offer, or advice on which to trade or deal.
2. Accounts
Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and for all activity carried out under their account. Usernames must not be offensive and must not impersonate another person or organization.
An account may be deleted at any time, from the Settings screen or at fourcores.gg/account-delete. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed; what it removes, and what is deliberately retained, is set out in the Privacy Policy. A deleted account's username remains reserved and cannot be registered again.
3. User content
Users retain ownership of the decklists they create. Saving a decklist grants Four Cores a non-exclusive license to store it and to display it publicly within the service alongside the author's username. Decklists are public by default, and are additionally published in machine-readable form for import by other deck sites; a decklist so retrieved may persist on a third-party site after it has been deleted here, which is beyond Four Cores' control. Collection, wishlist, and binder entries are stored for the user's own use and are not published, save that sharing a trade QR code makes the wishlist and binder it identifies readable to whoever scans it.
4. Trading between users
The trade features exist to help players find and record a trade between themselves. Four Cores is not a party to any trade, does not hold, ship, verify, value, or insure any card, and gives no assurance as to the existence, condition, ownership, or authenticity of anything another user lists. A trade recorded in the application is a note to the users who made it, not a contract with Four Cores, and no liability is accepted for a trade that goes wrong.
A wishlist or binder read from a scanned QR code may be used to arrange a trade with the player who shared it, and for nothing else.
5. Acceptable use
Users agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass any person;
- submit content that is offensive or that infringes the rights of others;
- scrape, overload, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service or its API;
- collect, republish, or otherwise exploit another user's decklists, wishlist, or binder, whether by automated means or by scanning a code shared for a trade;
- use the Discord bot to send unsolicited messages or to circumvent server moderation.
Content may be removed, and accounts or Discord servers suspended, for breach of this section.
6. Discord bot
Adding the bot to a Discord server requires the permissions presented by Discord at the time of installation, and responsibility for its presence rests with the administrator who adds it. Use of Discord is separately governed by Discord's own terms. Features of the bot may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
7. No affiliation
Four Cores is an unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sorcery: Contested Realm, Erik’s Curiosa Limited, or sorcerytcg.com. Card names, images, and rules text remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced for player reference. Certain links to TCGplayer are affiliate links from which Four Cores earns a commission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Four Cores accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the service, including the loss of decklist, collection, wishlist, or binder data — whether through fault, discontinuation of the service, or a deletion the user carries out themselves. Users are advised to retain their own copies of any data they wish to preserve.
9. Amendment and termination
These terms, and any part of the service, may be changed or discontinued at any time. Amendments take effect on publication, and the date above is updated accordingly; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. An account may be closed by the holder at any time as described in section 2, or on request by contacting the address below.
